DB9 computer data signal lightning protector, network serial port signal arrester, photoelectric isolator
Brief introduction
DB serial port signal protector is designed according to IEC and GB standard. It is divided into D (serial port) interface 9 pin and 25 pin two series. It provides a surge protection between lines and lines for RS232, RS485/422, wired remote sensing, telemetry, remote control and other D interface devices such as 9 and 25 pins. It is easy to install, without maintenance and reaction speed skin. Second level, we can fully protect the devices that use the latest semiconductor devices.
Working principle of product
The product is built with a fast transient voltage suppression protector designed to protect the RS interface and use a TVS transient voltage suppressor. Under normal circumstances, the TVS tube is in a high voltage resistance state. When the ends of the TVS tube are subjected to instantaneous high energy shock, it can reduce the impedance of the two end at a high speed and absorb a large current at a higher speed. The voltage at both ends is clamped to a predetermined value, so that the circuit elements behind it will not be damaged by transient high voltage impact.
Product features
1. bi-directional DB interface
2. is suitable for various interfaces
3. insertion loss is small
4. the coefficient of standing wave is small and the range of working frequency is wide

Use of attention
1. installing the grounding wire is to disconnect the device, and avoid damage to the equipment due to the introduction of strong current such as electric welding from the ground wire end.
2. connect the grounding wire of the surge protector with the metal case to the grounding collection line.
3. when the surge protector is in use, it should be checked regularly. If there is any fault, it should be repaired or replaced in time, so as to ensure the safety of the protected equipment.
4. non professional personnel do not disassemble.
Company profile
Thor has been designing new products to meet the RoHS directive since 2006. Thor’s ongoing commitment to RoHS compliance includes continuing efforts to reduce the presence of hazardous substances in the design and manufacture of a growing number of popular products.
All types and classes of our lightning and surge arresters 20KA~200KA(8/20μS) and 15KA~50KA(10/350μS) are tested and pass all the requirements based on their class.
